Janie works with clients and contractors to develop practical, fit-for-purpose TMPs for state highways and local road networks that balance safety, efficiency, and compliance – for large-scale tenders, maintenance contracts, and smaller local projects. She also brings expertise in aligning TMPs with the latest NZGTTM guidance.
She brings perspectives from both client and contractor – she has held roles within contracting organisations and Alliances, developing and implementing on the ground TMPs; and was seconded into a local authority to review and approve TMPs on behalf of the Road Controlling Authority.
Recent projects include St Vincent Street Stormwater Upgrade, Millers Acre Bus Hub, and Bridge to Better – for Nelson City Council; and Main Road Hope and Gladstone Road Watermain Upgrades, and Transport Choices for Tasman District Council. Janie also provided stakeholder management support following the heavy rain events in Tasman in 2025.
