Over a 30+ year career in the UK and New Zealand, Matt has earned a reputation for driving successful change and building capability through his involvement in complex programmes of work, and consulting to executive teams.
A Director of DS Project Solutions, Matt’s work spans transport, local government, and post-disaster recovery, including key roles following the Christchurch and Kaikōura earthquakes, Cyclone Gabrielle and Tasman rivers recovery programme. He has designed and implemented project and programme frameworks, systems, and tools that support strategic delivery and operational excellence. He’s also provided strategic direction for NZTA’s Speed and Infrastructure Programme and regional authorities. With a sharp understanding of competing priorities, risks and demands of large and ongoing programmes of work, Matt operates at the highest level to drive results.
