Steve is a highly experienced civil infrastructure professional with more than 31 years of experience delivering complex projects across New Zealand and the United Kingdom. An accomplished Project Manager and Contractor’s Representative, he has successfully led the planning and delivery of major transport and infrastructure projects in challenging operational environments.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and focus on programme optimisation, Steve excels at bringing together multi-disciplinary teams to achieve practical, best-for-project outcomes. He has extensive experience managing live operational interfaces, stakeholder engagement, Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), and strengths in risk and opportunity management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Throughout his career, Steve has played key roles on numerous high-profile infrastructure projects, including the Ōtaki to North Levin (Interim Project Alliance), award winning projects including Homer Tunnel Avalanche Shelter, SH1 Ōpaoa Bridge Replacement, SH1 Russley Road Upgrade, and a range of major highway projects throughout the United Kingdom.
