Borck Creek is one of the critical watercourses in the Richmond catchment serving a 1,400-hectare catchment area. This $11.5m project involves the replacement of an old 14-metre-long bridge with a new 48-metre-long structure which will allow the channel under it to be widened so that large volumes of accumulated water can easily and quickly flow out into the Waimea Estuary in a large flood.
We were engaged during the ECI phase to collaborate with the preferred contractor (Fulton Hogan) on behalf of TDC, to establish a cost-effective and constructable methodology. This included design and pricing reviews. Post-award, we have been acting as Principal’s Advisor – responsible for claims review, approval of variations and commercial overview.
